 August 2-6, 2010

   Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District

 will hold it's annual lacrosse Camp Aug. 2-6 . The cost of

 the camp is $60.00 fo 5 days. All events will run in the morning from

9-12 giving you the rest of the day to pursue your vacation plans.

 High Sierra Lacrosse League Fall Ball

Registration for the league is 5:00 pm on Wednesday. Practice

will be held for all events at Swope Middle School (Directions)

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays for beginning/new players

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays (Thursday Mandatory Attendance)

ENVY level practice

  • Beginning/New players may attend on Thursday, but will work

only on skill drills

  • Players age 12 and older by Sept.8 may participate.  We will not  take players who have            graduated from High School

  • Registration will be held September 8 from 5-6 at Swope Middle School. Cost is

          $30 (make check out to High Sierra Lacrosse League (HSLL)) and players must 

          present proof of US Lacrosse Membership (go to US Lacrosse)

  • Practices will be held from 5-7 pm.

      Oktoberfest - Village at Squaw Valley

      Our main fund raising event. Bavarian revelry, food, drink and live music

      returns to The Village at Squaw Valley USA's 9th annual Oktoberfest

      celebration from 1 - 6 PM. Joe Smiell and his  20-piece Bavarian Band will play classic  favorites, a German DJ will round out the  afternoon's musical lineup with more music and  games.  All entertainment at the event is free.

      LAXTOBERFEST TOURNAMENT

      This is the second year of this open tournament. The Artificial Turf Field at Squaw Valley Park hosts the event and the proceedes benefit TTLA and its Oktoberfest events.  If you are interested in playing or if you have a team interested contact Al Garner 4thalbert@gmail.com

      Harvest Lacrosse Tournament - Sacramento State 

      As part of the Fall Ball Season HSLL will field a team for this event

      It is a U-17 and U-19 event and will include Invited teams hailing

      from San Jose and the San Francisco Bay area, through the
      Sacramento Valley, and up the hill into Nevada. There will be a Lacrosse

      Chalk Talk / Workshop / skill challenge during lunch break and the teams

      are guaranteed 3 games for the event.
