2012 News and Updates

 

Youth Lacrosse in the Reno/Sparks area is growing at a rapid pace! We have an organized league (HSYL) to provide fun and motivational instruction at all levels. Organizers are looking for participants to fill in spots on both boys and girls youth teams this spring.

The Tahoe Basin has two well-established and flourishing youth lacrosse programs. The North Tahoe youth lacrosse group and the Truckee youth lacrosse group. Both groups offer excellent instruction for players of all ages. Each group participates in the local youth league, the HSYL.

The North Tahoe program offers programs for 8-11 year old boys and 12-14 year old boys. These age divisions are very close to the same U-13 and U-15 divisions used by US Lacrosse. An open division is also available for youth players outside of these age divisions.

 

We are building a youth girls lacrosse team too! Please express interest to Brett McCann (below) for details.

Truckee 

The Truckee youth program is the oldest lacrosse program in the Reno/Tahoe area. The program offers multiple levels of instruction and wonderful playing environment for both youth boys and girls.
