Avalanche 2025-26: Programs/Registration

Avalanche is the travel component of High Sierra Lacrosse programming, providing competitive,affordable travel tournament and development opportunities for youth and high school players in northern Nevada and the Tahoe-Truckee area.

New players must also purchase a uniform at the Avalanche Store.

For Grad Years 2026 through 2035

FALL-WINTER EXTENDED AVY TRAVEL SEASON
$650 + $175 for each tournament attended

2-3 Tournaments Nov through Jan - Fall-Winter Tournament Calendar
1-2 Practices/week Oct or Nov through Jan

For Grad Years 2033, 2034 and 2035

10U AVY: MAIN & EXTENDED TRAVEL SEASONS
$650 + $175 for each tournament attended

AVALANCHE REFUND POLICY

For Intermediate to advanced boys and girls players in graduation years 2026 through 2035
Avalanche is best for players who have mastered fundamental skills and have at least one season of HSL Spring league play, or similar experience. It is not right for brand new players, or beginning players. If you’re in doubt about joining Avalanche, talk with your Coach, or contact Avalanche program coordinators at avy@hsll.org.
Once registered in an Avalanche Program, players can attend all Avalanche practices, clinics and events offered during the year, and will be coached according to their development levels.
Tournament rosters for each team level will be chosen from the best available players three weeks prior to a tournament. Attending tournaments also requires paying an additional tournament fee. and have at least one season of HSL Spring league play, or similar experience.
